Get Adele’s Classic-vintage inspired wedding Look

Yesterday we featured Adele and Wessel’s classic-vintage inspired wedding. Today I am going to show you a few ideas on how to get Adele’s classic-vintage inspired wedding look.

adelecolours

Adele’s wedding was in the winter and she wanted the wedding to be warm and cozy as well as stylish and dramatic. Colour is always very important if you want to get the “feel” of the wedding right. Her colour pallet had creams and blacks with touches of antique pink.

Here are a few things she did to achieve a classic-vintage wedding look:

shole

Her dress was made using layers of different fabrics, incorporating her colour pallet. She also wore a faux fur stole.

liz

She pinned a vintage brooch she found at a local antique shop to her dress.

gloves

She wore short black lace gloves with ribbon detail.

pearls

Nothing is more classical than single pearl earrings. She also wore a pearl necklace and a pearl vine in her hair and had pearls in her flowers and bouquet.

clutch

A classic but chic clutch bag can compliment a vintage look.

veil

She made the *blusher style birdcage veil herself, with a few pieces of lace, fabric and netting.
She wore her hair in a romantic up-style on the side of her head; using hair extensions to give her hair the required length. You could add a flower with pearls for extra detail.

*The blusher style. Comes in lengths that land below the lips, nose or eyes. You can also pick the length in fuller or semi-full gathers. The full gathers give you that gorgeous bridal elegance.

    Regtig baie mooi!
