Mercia & all your readers. I wanted to have deep colours for my wedding and my sister came up with the idea of using dark purple flowers with red roses. I was so sceptical at first but our flowers (especially my bouquet) looked awesome. I did what you said in the article, added black and gold to the purple and red. Purple is really very versatile. To all the brides out there: dont be scared to be bold.
I agree. My mom was very sceptic as she wants my to go the traditional white with a pastel color, but luckily my ant climbed in and convinced her.
Im going a very rich to dark purple with sunrise yellow and a yellowish cream. When my ant made up a table to show the example of the colors and the flowers she had in mind I fell in love… the colors looks absolutely stunning together.
